Kearney Honored by Sheet Metal Workers Local 17 Endorsement

Kearney earns 8th labor union endorsement, Democratic opponent has none.

SCITUATE, MASSACHUSETTS – Patrick Kearney, a naval officer, entrepreneur, and
Democratic candidate for the Plymouth 4th District seat, was honored to be endorsed by Sheet
Metal Workers’ International Association Local Union #17. This is the eighth labor union to
endorse Kearney, a clear demonstration of his support from working families in his district.
Unions know he is the best choice to continue Representative Cantwell’s leadership on issues
that matter to the hardworking union members of the 4th Plymouth District.

Kearney has been campaigning throughout the district and has been encouraged by the reaction
from voters from different ethnicities, ages, and even parties. He is focusing on connecting with
the hardworking men and women that make up the 4th Plymouth District. Union endorsements
show that he is the best candidate to fight for working families as we strive towards a living
wage, fair hiring practices, and other issues of interest to organized labor and voters.

Kearney is a lifelong South Shore resident who serves as an ensign in the Naval Reserve while
also working in software sales. He is running for State Representative to be a leader on seawall
and maritime issues, while also working to make sure Marshfield and Scituate get their fair share
of local aid and education funding. For more information, please visit ElectPatrickKearney.com
